Lefkada is home to thousands of luxurious yachts. Around the island there are five major marinas as an important shelter for yachts and boats. A new marina will be built in Vasiliki, situated in south Lefkada, connecting the island of Lefkada to other smaller islands nearby. In the coming years, there are plans for a new canal to be built between Lefkada and Aitoloakarnania. In this way, the access to big yachts will be facilitated.

The most popular and essential one, Marina Lefkada is situated on the north east side of the island, ideally for sailing holidays exploring the hidden beauties in both the North and South Ionian which includes Lefkas, Corfu, Paxos, Ithaca, Kefalonia and Meganissi as well as many smaller Ionian islands.

This marina is possibly one of the most modern marinas of the Mediterranean. The total capacity is 620 yachts of up to 45 meters in length and 4 meters draught. The infrastructure, the installations, the hospitality and the services being provided by the marina are of a very high standard, satisfying even the most demanding customer.
